Henri (1992) Model

Henri (1992) Model is a content analysis of computer-mediated communication.
Any electronic transcript can be analyzed using Henri (1992) Model such as online discussions, edublog, wiki, youtube, just to name a few.

There are 5 variables of Henri Model in analyzing the content of computer-mediated communication which are:

1. Student Participation Rates
2. Electronic Interaction Patterns
3. Social Cues within Student Messages
4. Cognitive and Metacognitive Components of Student Messages
5. Depth of Processing (surface/deep) within Message Postings

So, I will be using Henri Model to analyze the Facebook Group activity in my focus group based on the variables above.

This would help suggest the level of engagement of students using Facebook for educational purposes.
