Framework of Evaluating Online Collaborative Learning Interaction

Analyzing collaborative learning through:
1. Group interaction
2. Group scaffolding

High level of collaborative learning is depends on these indicators:
1. Task performance (learning outcome)
2. Group functioning (participation/interaction behaviour)
3. Social support (task/process scaffolding)
4. Help service (task/process scaffolding)


Indicators that model task performance:

SKILSS:
1. Basic active learning skills
2. Supporting active learning skills
3. Information processing (perception) skills


Indicators that model group functioning:

SKILLS:
1. Active participation behavior and peer involvement skills
2. Social grounded skills
3. Task processing skills
4. Workspace processing skills
5. Communication processing skills


Those indicators would suggest the level/quality of collaborative tasks performed by students
